The New Year Is Upon Us
Will you repeat the habits that hold you back or finally leave them behind?
Thank you to those of you who consistently give me your time and attention. I don’t take that lightly, and I never will.
In four days, a new year begins.
You can repeat the habits that have brought you frustration and disappointment, or you can leave them behind.
Most people believe change comes from setting better goals. In my experience, and from what I’ve learned from people I deeply respect, that’s rarely enough. Goals without structure fade. Goals without identity collapse.
Real change comes from embodying the person you want to become.
Most of our behavior is subconscious. We wake up, fall into motion, and move through the day thinking about dinner plans, future vacations, or the next thing we need to deliver for work. Days turn into weeks. Weeks into months. Suddenly, it’s the end of the year, and somehow, you’re standing in the same place, carrying the same hopes you had twelve months ago.
To break this cycle, you need to define who you are becoming.
