How To Negotiate | Social Proof & Abundance

Cultivating a state of indifference. The mindset that wins deals.

If you’re new to this letter, here’s a quick recap on who I am:

  • Founding President of the first business fraternity at Eckerd College

  • Former Sales Leader / Tech Executive @ multi-million dollar tech company

  • Current business strategist & negotiator for the top travel YouTubers in the world

  • Building a stationery brand encouraging self-growth through the power & privacy of pen & paper

Each of these pursuits has required me to negotiate, for services, stacks of cash, or vision. And I learned the hard way: the tighter I clung to an outcome, the more often I lost.

When I first started sales for Bounce, pitching the idea of storing luggage in the backrooms of local shops, I got dismissed constantly.

Small business owners don’t have time for your shit. If they don’t like you or your pitch, you don’t get negotiation, you get a simple, “get out of my shop.”
