How To Negotiate | A Series

One of the most important rules I’ve ever been taught is that everything is made up. The rules in your town, city, or state? One day someone just decided them, and now they stick around because everyone shrugs and says, “that’s just the way it is.”

Once you really understand that, you can apply it to almost every area of your life. But for the sake of simplicity, I’ll relate it to negotiation and how to get a better deal for yourself or others, whether it’s a salary, a contract, or anything else of value.
